The success of the board heavily depends on the trustees working well together. The board must first develop a it's own culture of cohesion and healthy debate. The board must continue that co-operative culture into all of it it's communications & work with community partners

Build on my VCPAC experience of facilitating public townhalls to find ways to engage and invite the whole school community to be an ongoing active partner in board decisions.

The school system has been a significant tool in damaging indigenous culture and trust. The school board must confront the truth and embrace the process of conciliative repair. Listening and learning from the local nations how indigenous culture can be acknowledged, brought to the forefront, celebrated and cherished is my goal.
